GRAND ISLAND —
Ruth Rose (Young) Arida, resident of Grand Island, died on Saturday March 2, 2013 at Sterling House under the care of Niagara Hospice.
She was the beloved wife of 59 years of the late Edward P. Arida. Loving mother of Thomas (LeeAnn), Raymond (Peggy), Edward (Roseann), John (Terry), Robert (Lois), Paul (Lisa) and the late David (survived by wife Judith) Arida. Also survived by nineteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Sister of William (Renee), Arthur (Marion) and the late Raymond and Frank Young.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Kaiser Funeral Home, 1950 Whitehaven Rd., Grand Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Stephen's Church. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice.
