RANSOMVILLE —
Charles John Lewis, of Ransomville, NY, entered into rest on February 20, 2013. Charles was born in Hamilton, Ontario on April 29, 1942. As a child, Charles and his family moved to Niagara Falls, NY.
He attended local schools in Niagara County and retired from Harrison Radiator. He was a long-term member of the Cataract Cruisers Car Club where he was able to express his joy at rebuilding and driving classic cars. He was also a member of the Niagara Falls Bow Hunters Club and a former member of the LaSalle Sportsman Club.
Charles is survived by his son, Daniel Lewis of Niagara Falls, NY; son-in-law, Richard Webb; grandchildren, Steven, Courtney, Stephanie and great-granddaughter, Kylie. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Katherine (nee Ashley); his wife, Grace (nee Drueshel); daughter, Carrie Webb; siblings, Daniel Lewis, Patti Ciccone and Colleen Ruane.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of His Life at the Jetport Restaurant, 7100 Porter Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 7 PM.
