Kathryn G. Pedaci

ROCHESTER — Kathryn G. (Moore) Pedaci, 75, of Geneseo, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at The Highlands of Brighton Nursing Home in Rochester, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jerald and Kathryn (Heary) Moore.

Kathryn was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls until recently moving to Geneseo, NY. She  attended local schools, including Niagara Falls High School. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and member of the former Sacred Heart Church prayer group.  Kathryn was an avid reader, but above all enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Pedaci was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Pasquale "Pat" Pedaci on July 1, 2002.  She is survived by her five children, Martha (Tadd) Mix of Mt. Morris, NY, Mary (Dave) Insalaco-Tripiciano of Geneseo, NY, Mark (Tina) Pedaci of Lewiston, NY, Margaret (Jamie) Robideau of  Niagara Falls, NY, and Michael (Genevieve) Pedaci of Livonia, NY; 15 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Kevin Insalaco; sister, Elizabeth Del Gobbo and brothers, Matthew Moore, Jack Moore, Andy Moore and Eddie Moore.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Bethesda Full Gospel Tabernacle, 6 Delaware Street, Tonawanda, NY, with Rev. Sam Ciffa officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by M.J.
