LAKELAND, FL —
Mr. Harold Edwin Davidson, 90, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
Mr. Davidson was born April 5, 1922 in Martins Ferry, OH, to John and Jane Davidson. He was a devoted husband and father. Harold was a shipping clerk for the Sears store. He was an Army WWII veteran who fought at the Battle of the Bulge and received a Bronze Star. Harold was a member of the Lakewood United Methodist Church, Lakeland FL, and moved from Niagara Falls to Lakeland in 1984.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Barbara, who passed away in 2010; and three brothers, John, Howard and Wayne. Harold is survived by one son, Michael (Karen) Davidson, Alpharetta, GA; two daughters, Karen (James) Stewart, Niagara Falls, NY, Marcia (Nicholas) Staszko, Lakeland, FL; one sister, Mary (Robert) Moore; one brother, Robert (Joyce) and also 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 22, 2013, from 2-3 PM. A funeral service followed at 3 PM at Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 2125 South Bartow Hwy., Lakeland, FL 33801.
