Wilfred A. "Will" Jones, Sr.

RANSOMVILLE — Wilfred A. "Will" Jones, Sr., age 71, of Ransomville, died Sunday, November 4, 2012, at his residence, under the loving care of his family and Niagara Hospice.

Will was born August 30, 1941 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Ralph and Delina (Bouly) Jones. He owned and operated AJJ Appliance Repair in the Town of Niagara and had been employed as a Sandblaster at Frontier Foundries in Niagara Falls for 22 years. Will enjoyed bowling and had bowled with a traveling league in Niagara Falls. He loved to hunt and fish with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing cards.

Will married Carol Ann Jones on September 25, 1960. In addition to Carol he is survived by his sons, Joseph (Debbie) Jones of Ransomville; Raymond (Shawna) Jones of Wilson; Edward Jones of Ransomville; and Wilfred A. (Phil Biamonte) Jones, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter-in-law, Shelly Jones of Niagara Falls, NY; a brother, Roy (Barbara) Jones of Buffalo; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; as well as several other nieces and nephews. Also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Margaret Jones.

Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 8, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. William Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
