NIAGARA FALLS — Judith "Judy" Ann (Nemeth Wallace) Ulias, 64, of Glastonbury, CT, passed away peacefully at home on May 11, 2010. Judy was born October 12, 1945 in Niagara Falls, NY to Inez and the late William Nemeth, Sr. She attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School in 1963. She was a proud member of the AKE Sorority and of the Honor Society. Judy was employed at Finishing Enterprises, Hooker Chemical Co., Grand Island Schools and Vaughn Door before relocating to Connecticut. There she was employed at Voices Newspaper and then became a homemaker. Judy was an amazing person who gave of herself and always put others first. She gave unconditional love to her family and friends, but her biggest joy was her grandchildren. She made every moment special and paid close attention to detail. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever. She also "liked to fuss", was a fabulous cook, liked to entertain and enjoy life's little moments. She is survived by her loving husband, Phil Ulias of Glastonbury; her daughter, Dawn (Wallace) Ralph; her son, Jeff Wallace of SC; daughter, Kerry Ann (Ulias) Mohan of NJ; and son, David Ulias of CA, her grandchildren Maggie and Madison Ralph, Ryan, Amanda and Kendra Wallace, Briana and Connor Mohan; also survived by her brother, William Nemeth, Jr.; and her sister, Barbara "Babs" (Nemeth) DeMarco and husband John DeMarco and beloved nieces and dear friends. Friends may call on Saturday, May 15th from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 16th at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to Upstate New York Transplant Services. Visit www.LaneFuneralHome.com.
