Walter "Wally" Walas

Walter "Wally" Walas, age 63, formerly of Cambria Wilson Townline Rd. in Wilson died on Sunday, January 6, 2013 in the Absolut Care of Gasport after a lengthy illness. Wally was born on August 13, 1949 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Walter and Bernice (Zygmont) Walas.
He was a 1968 graduate of Wilson High School and had attended Niagara University. Wally worked for a number of years for Smith Sales in Amherst, NY. He was one of the founders of the Wilson-Ransomville Youth Football League and enjoyed socializing with his friends.
He is survived by a brother, Larry Walas; a nephew, Eric Siernacki; his friend, Bruce Charbonneau; two sons, and an adopted daughter. He was predeceased by a sister, Loretta Siernacki.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. There is no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville.
