NIAGARA FALLS —
Gwendolyn P. Egan, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at her residence.
She was born in St. Thomas, Ontario on November 14, 1914, a daughter of the late George and Sarah E. (Jones) Price.
Mrs. Egan moved to Niagara Falls, NY with her family in 1919, where she attended local schools. She was employed by the International Paper Company for 15 years.
Mrs. Egan was the wife of the late James C. Egan, who died in October of 1990.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Egan of Williamsville, NY and Elizabeth Egan of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister, Mary (late Charles) Saxe; a nephew, Charles (Janet) Saxe; a niece, Mildred (late Randy) Olscamp. She is also survived by many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Mrs. Egan was the sister of the late Clara (Vincent) Reed and Violet (Harold) Knapp and aunt of the late Mary Elaine Fornes.

Private funeral services were held at the wishes of her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at at time to be announced. Memorials may be made in her name to the Salvation Army, 7018 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Entombment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Arrangements were made through the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Lewiston, NY.
