Barbara P. Mooradian

WELLINGTON, FL — Barbara P. (Quigliano) Mooradian, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 under the care of hospice in Wellington, FL.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Quigliano.

Barbara attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed by the city of Niagara Falls and worked in the mail room at Niagara Falls City Hall for 15 years, and later as a secretary at the Niagara Falls Public Safety Building. In 1991, Barbara moved to Florida and has been living with her son for the past five years.

Mrs. Mooradian was predeceased by her husband, former Councilman Samuel J.Mooradian, in 1962. She is survived by one son, Harry S. Mooradian (late Shelby) of Wellington, FL; and was predeceased by one daughter, Nina Mooradian Miles and two sisters, Josephine (late Guy) Caterina and Mary (late John) Corriere. She is also survived by three nephews, Guy Caterina, Vincent Corriere and Sam Drayo; and several cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, November 29th, at 11 AM in St. Vincent DePaul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Andrew Lauricella officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Donations in Mrs. Mooradian's memory may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL  33409.
