Tuesday
n Niagara County Fisheries Development Board meeting starting at 7 p.m. at the Snyder Room, Town of Lockport office building, Old Beattie Road, Lockport.
Wednesday
n Niagara Frontier Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will hold their monthly meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Twin Village Post 463, Litchfield Ave., Lancaster (near Transit and Broadway).
Thursday
n Opening of the inland trout and landlocked salmon seasons through October. The statewide regulation is a daily limit of five fish, any size for most trout. For lake trout, it’s a 21-inch minimum and three fish, and 15 inches and three fish for salmon. Consult your regulations guide for anything different for the body of water you intend to fish or visit the DEC Web site at www.dec.ny.gov for more info. Great Lakes regulations are different for trout and salmon.

n Niagara County Federation of Conservation Clubs Annual Awards Banquet to be held starting at 5:30 p.m.; dinner at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held at Cornell Cooperative Extension Niagara, 4487 Lake Avenue (Route 78), Lockport.
