| Found as a stray. He is an overweight boy (he weighs 18 pounds). We have started him on diet cat food and his new family is encouraged to do the same, for extra weight can bring on many types of health problems. He lost some hair during his bath and had a lot of dandruff. His new family will need to keep him brushed, especially around his back end, for he has trouble reaching this area due to his weight. He has some dental tartar, normal for a kitty his age, and would be best if kept on dry diet food. The new family could also try some of the dental products for cats they can find at a pet shop or their veterinarians office. Could use some exercise (possibly a laser pointer could encourage him to play). Very mellow, vocal and social boy who enjoys attention. |
