Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies say an elderly man with cognitive disabilities was located Wednesday, a day after he left his Niagara Road home and was reported missing.
The 91-year-old man drove off in his car around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
He was reported missing and police notified local media that he suffers from early onset Alzheimers, but is known to frequent locations in the Town of Niagara.
Police sent out a second press release on Wednesday that he had been located and has returned home.
The statement did not specify where exactly he was located, nor by whom.

• ASSAULT: Police have arrested two Falls women and are seeking another women in connection with an assault in the 1900 block of Falls Street. A 21-year-old woman told officers she was on her porch at 3:37 a.m. Tuesday when three other women attacked her. The victim said she was repeatedly punched and kicked before the suspects got back into a vehicle and fled the scene. Moments later, officers stopped a car near the scene and took a suspect into custody. Wanda Jean Kraft, 24, 412 24th St., was charged with third-degree assault, attempted second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, Police said Kraft was the driver of the get-away vehicle and drove at a friend of the victim, almost striking her. Several hours later, police picked up another suspect in the 500 block of 10th Street. Samantha Joanne Klein, 24, 545 Seventh St., was charged with third-degree assault.
