• INCIDENT: Police are looking for a suspect who reportedly drew a gun and threatened a mother and her child during an incident in the 3000 block of Orleans Avenue at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday. The mother said a gold Expedition pulled up in front of her home and a male suspect got out. As the man walked around the SUV, he pulled up his shirt, pulled a black handgun out of his waistband and pointed it at the woman and her child. The suspect said, "You don't want to mess with this." He then got back into his vehicle. The Expedition was last seen going south on 30th Street.
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1000 block of Portage Avenue at 9:24 a.m. Tuesday. Isiah Moses Anderson, 43, of no permanent address, was charged with petit larceny, second-degree menacing, resisting arrest and criminal possession of a weapon. Police said Anderson took a package of grapes and when he was approached in the 1300 block of Elmwood Avenue, began threatening officers by swinging a chain with a padlock on it at them.
• THEFT: Officers are looking into an SUV break-in in the 2700 block of Falls Street. A 35-year-old woman told police that sometime between 6 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday someone broke into her 2005 Chevy Trailblazer by smashing a passenger-side window. The victim said her purse was taken.
