• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: At 6:55 p.m. Friday, a resident in the 700 block of Eighth Street reported she was sitting in the kitchen while someone threw a brick through the window. Damage is estimated at $50.
• BURGLARY: Between 6:45 a.m. Tuesday and 5:30 p.m. Friday, an Xbox, controller and 10 games were taken from a residence in the 400 block of 17th Street. The value of the items is $940.
• BURGLARY: Several items were taken from a residence in the 3600 block of Chapin Avenue between 8:45 a.m. and 4:39 p.m. Friday. The value of the items and damages was listed at $5,450.
• PETIT LARCENY: Workers at a business in the 1800 block of Pine Avenue reported that a person took clothing and hair clippers at 4:38 p.m. Friday. The value of the items was listed at $130.
• PETIT LARCENY: A Lewiston Road resident reported at between 12:05 and 7 a.m. Friday, someone took a snow blower from the garage. The snow blower is valued at $575.
Town of Niagara
• CHARGED: Ryan P. Beasock, 19, 459 24th St., Niagara Falls, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle early Wednesday after a traffic stop on Military Road. According to the sheriff’s report, a deputy initiated the stop after observing Beasock’s vehicle pass through a red light at Porter-Packard Road. Beasock possesses only a driver’s learning permit, a records check showed. Beasock’s vehicle was searched and a white plastic bag containing suspected marijuana was found near the driver’s seat, the report said. Beasock was held in lieu of $250 bail before a Thursday appearance in Town of Niagara Court.
