BLOTTER: Police reports published Dec. 20

Niagara Falls

• THEFT: Police are investigating a car break-in in the 2900 block of 23rd Street. A 30-year-old man told officers that sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday someone broke into his 1997 Buick Regal by smashing the passenger-side front window. The victim said a radio, an amp and a sub-woofer were taken.

• VANDALISM: Officers are looking into an act of vandalism in the 2200 block of Whitney Avenue. A 26-year-old man told police that sometime between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 8:40 a.m. Tuesday someone caused damage to his 2001 Chevy Suburban. The victim said all the windows and the windshield of the vehicle were smashed out. He also said all the paint on the vehicle had been gouged with a sharp object and the gas tank was filled with sugar.

City of Lockport

• CONTEMPT: Lee O. Jones, 22, 629 35th St., Niagara Falls, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt Wednesday. According to the report, Jones entered a residence on Adam Street on Dec. 9 and was told to leave. The victim had an order of protection. He turned himself in at police headquarters.

• CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION:  Cordaro T. Walker, 21, 4600 Hyde Park Boulevard, Niagara Falls, was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation and failure to stop at a stop sign. Walker was stopped for a traffic offense on State Road at 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, Walker gave a fictitious first name and date of birth. 

Wheatfield

• GRAND LARCENY: A Graydon Drive man reported Tuesday that his debit card was charged $4,113 in unauthorized purchases. First Niagara Bank contacted him after a second purchase for approximately $4,200  was denied. The purchase was made at Nordstrom's in Pennsylvania. The victim said that he has never let his debit card out of his hand except on Dec. 17 when he and his wife ate at a Niagara Falls Boulevard business.
