BLOTTER: Police Reports published Aug. 27, 2010

NIAGARA FALLS — • THEFT: Police are investigating the theft of a car from Seneca Niagara Casino. A 63-year-old Rochester man told officers he left his 2011 Chevy Traverse in the valet parking line at 12:50 p.m. Thursday and a male suspect jumped into the vehicle and drove it away. Investigators are reviewing surveillance tape of the incident.

• ARRESTS: Three juveniles were arrested after a fight in the middle of the street on the 400 block of 19th Street at 2 p.m. Thursday. Officers said up to 10 people were screaming and yelling obscenities and trying to fight each other. Jacob Briones, 17,  484 19th St. front, was charged with disorderly conduct and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Sean Kent, 17, 419 17th St. Apt. 3 and James S. Handeman, 17, 1640 Falls St., were each charged with disorderly conduct.

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 500 block of Tronolone Place. A 51-year-old man told police sometime between 1:30 and 1:50 p.m. Thursday, someone entered his apartment by unknown means. The victim said a guitar and case were taken.

• ASSAULT: Police are investigating an assault in the 1900 block of Falls Street. A 21-year-old woman said she was involved in an argument with another woman at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, when the suspect pulled out a knife and attempted to stab her. The victim said the suspect then threw a rock through a window screen of her apartment.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on trespassing and other charges. Thomas Dickinson, 46, 1309 22nd St. upper, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Dickinson is accused of entering a hotel in the 100 block of Buffalo Avenue at 10:35 a.m. Thursday after being barred from there. He is also accused of creating a disturbance in an hotel in the 300 block of Third Street a short time later.

Wheatfield

• LARCENY: Dakota J. Porter, 22, 9215 Niemel Drive, Niagara Falls, was charged Wednesday with petit larceny after he stole $21 from the store while working. A report said a video surveillance caught Porter on tape putting the money in his pocket. Porter is scheduled for Town of Wheatfield Court Sept. 7.
