ACCIDENT
Cambria man ‘stable’ after accident
A Cambria man was still in stable condition Monday at Erie County Medical Center after an accident Sunday night on Human Road in Cambria.
Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies said Marcus Huttenmaier, 27, was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC after a passer-by notified the sheriff’s office at 5:31 p.m. of the one-vehicle accident.
A report said Huttenmaier was driving west on Human Road when his vehicle left the north side of the road, striking a fence and tree.
He was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation and other traffic violations.

• ROBBERY: Police are looking for a suspect in a robbery on the 1100 block of Portage Road. An 85-year-old man told officers he was in the bus terminal there, at 4 p.m. Monday, when he went to put some money in his wallet. The man said another man grabbed the wallet and cash and pushed him to the ground. Transit Authority Police said the robbery was recorded on video surveillance cameras.
• ARRESTS: Two Falls teenagers were arrested after a foiled burglary attempt. Antonio Carr, 16, 1028 10th St., and Ladrae Walker, 18, 518 75th St., were each charged with attempted second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief. A neighbor told police she saw the teens smash a window in a back door of a home in the 1800 block of Niagara Avenue at 9:30 a.m. Monday. Carr and Walker fled from the scene when the neighbor called police but were caught a short time later.
Newfane
• LARCENY: A Lockport-Olcott Road resident told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies Monday that a number of items were stolen from her unlocked vehicle. Missing items included a handicap parking tag, a Tops gift card, a car seat and $15 in cash.
• DWI: Troopers charged three people in Newfane this weekend with driving while intoxicated. Anthony M. Vitale, 29, of Montfort Drive, Cheektowaga, was charged with one count of DWI on Main Street. Dennis R. Kirkland, 57, of LaSalle Avenue, Niagara Falls, was charged with aggravated DWI with a child passenger. Kirkland reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent. Kerry J. Stark, 41, of Bright Street, Lockport, was charged with DWI on Lockport-Olcott Road, and police said the suspect had a 0.15 percent blood alcohol content.
