• THEFT: Officers are looking into an SUV break-in in the 500 block of 25th Street. A 36-year-old man told police that sometime after midnight Monday someone broke into his 2003 Ford Explorer by smashing the passenger-side front window. The victim said a pack of cigarettes was taken.
• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 400 block of 27th Street. A 41-year-old man told officers that sometime between 4:22 p.m. Saturday and 4:20 p.m. Monday someone broke into his vacant property by removing plywood from a basement window. The victim said five hot water radiators were taken.
North Tonawanda
• LARCENY: Christopher C. Licht, 21, 2455 Willow Ave., upper, Niagara Falls and Antonio Chavez, 22, 318 West Ave., Medina were charged at 7:09 p.m. Monday with fourth-degree grand larceny and trespass after allegedly attempting to steal railroad equipment at the Thompson Street crossing. Both are being held in lieu of $250 bail.
