• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1300 block of Ashland Avenue. A 29-year-old man told officers that sometime between 11:30 and 11:50 a.m. Wednesday someone broke into his home by forcing open a rear door. The victim said an Xbox 360 game system, a desktop computer and some cash was taken.
• ARREST: A Falls couple were arrested after a fight outside a bar in the 6500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. Jacqueline Renee Cochran, 35, and Shane Patrick Damon, 35, both of 507 72nd St., were each charged with third-degree assault. The boyfriend and girlfriend are accused of assaulting a 50-year-old man who was trying to stop an argument, outside the bar at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday. The victim told officers that Cochran punched him in the face and Damon kicked him in the face during the assault.

• CONTEMPT: David T. Knox, 28, of Homestead Avenue, Niagara Falls, was arrested Wednesday for criminal contempt, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. He was held for court.
• ENDANGERMENT: Jeffrey E. Rybarczyk, 42, of Porter Road, Niagara Falls, surrendered on a warrant for first-degree reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and third-degree menacing. Police say he threw a propane tank at his ex-girlfriend’s window.
