Niagara Falls

• SHOOTING: Police are investigating a shooting in the 1100 block of Ferry Avenue. A 30-year-old man told officers he was pulling into a driveway at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, when a male suspect walked up to his car and told him, “Give me all your money, get out of the car.” The victim said he did not get out of his car and the suspect then pulled out a silver handgun and fired a shot at the vehicle window. The suspect then ran south from the scene and the victim drove himself to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his face.

 
• THEFT: Officers are looking into a truck break-in in the 9500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, A 41-year-old man told police that sometime between 8 pm. Wednesday and 4:30 a.m. Thursday, someone broke into the cab of his tractor-trailer by smashing the driver’s side window. The victim said a bluetooth headset, a satelite radio system and some keys were taken.

 
• THEFT: Police are investigating a truck break-in in the 9500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A truck driver told police that sometime between 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:31 a.m. Thursday, someone broke into his tractor-trailer cab by smashing the passenger side window. The victim said a GPS system mount and a bag of coins were taken.

 
• THEFT: Officers are looking into a car break-in in the 9500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. A 42-year-old man told police that sometime between 6 and 9 p.m. Wednesday, someone broke into his unlocked 1996 Chevy. The victim said his wallet and a pack of cigarettes were taken.

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 1500 block of Military Road at 8:49 p.m. Thursday. Joel Stephen Zsebehazy, 29, 328 Ferry Ave. Apt. 5, was charged with petit larceny. Zsebehazy is accused of taking $77 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
