NIAGARA FALLS — Niagara Falls

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 700 block of Eighth Street. A 34-year-old man told officers that sometime between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 p.m. Friday someone broke into his apartment by forcing open the front door. The victim said a TV and a laptop computer were taken.

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary from a city storage facility in the 900 block of Robbins Drive. A Public Works Department supervisor told police that sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 5:45 a.m. Friday someone broke into the building by removing a plastic window from a rear garage door. The supervisor said seven chain saws and a gas tank were taken.

• THEFT: Police are investigating an SUV break-in in the 1500 block of LaSalle Avenue. A 43-year-old man told officers that sometime around 5:15 a.m. Saturday someone broke into his 2009 Chevy Traverse by smashing the driver’s-side front window. The victim said the vehicle’s stereo, along with some amps and speakers, and two DVD players were taken.

• BURGLARY: Officers are looking into a burglary in the 2700 block of Monroe Avenue. A 77-year-old man told police that sometime between 3:30 and 11:50 p.m. Sunday someone broke into his home by breaking a window on a side door and unlocking the lock. The victim said three handguns, four boxes of ammunition and a checkbook were taken.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic-related incident in the 600 block of 19th Street at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tajaih Oliver Moore, 20, 2405 Grand Ave., Apt. 1, was charged with second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing, third-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving, drug and traffic charges after a traffic stop at Hyde Park Boulevard and Buffalo Avenue at 10:54 p.m. Friday. Chester Haugabook, 42, 1961 Welch Ave., Apt. 2, upper, was charged with driving while intoxicated, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance outside its original container, speeding and failure to signal.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving and traffic charges after a traffic stop at 9th Street and Walnut Avenue at 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Gabriel B. Felts, 29, 2001 LaSalle Ave., was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, speeding, reckless driving, unsafe lane change and unlawful possession of marijuana.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic-related incident in the 800 block of Linwood Avenue at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Frank Gerard Esposito, 55, 1618 Eighth St., was charged with second-degree harassment, third-degree menacing and third-degree criminal mischief.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic incident in the 600 block of 88th Street at 12:15 p.m. Sunday. Stephen Michael Swiatkowski, 49, 617 88th St., was charged with second-degree menacing.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic incident in the 1500 block of Military Road at 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Joshua Jimenez, 24, 530 18th St., Apt. 3, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested after a domestic incident on Buffalo Avenue at 1 a.m. Monday. Gerald Jerome Kelly, 52, 442 Seventh St., Apt. 1, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt.

• ARREST: A Buffalo woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 7200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Gina Roxanne Miller, 46, 471 Fillmore Ave., was charged with petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Miller was stopped by police as she attempted to leave the store with $37 worth of socks.

• ARREST: A Falls woman was arrested after a domestic incident in the 2200 block of Niagara Avenue at 10:04 p.m. Monday. Valerie Jane Martin, 45, 2221 Niagara Ave., Apt. 2, was charged with second-degree assault.
