BLOTTER: Police reports published March 16

Niagara Falls

• VANDALISM: Police are looking into an incident of vandalism in the 4800 block of Tompson Road. An employee of a business there told officers that sometime between Feb. 22 and Feb. 25, someone shot out a building window with a BB gun.

 
• THEFT: Officers are looking into a theft in the 2100 block of Fairfield Avenue. The owner of a company told police that sometime between noon and 8:30 p.m. Thursday, someone took two electrical transformers from in front of his business. 

 
• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 600 block of 70th Street. A 26-year-old man told officers that sometime between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Thursday, someone broke into his home by forcing the lock on a rear door. The victim said a laptop computer, a camera, a cell phone, a smart card, some cigarettes, a debit card and driver’s license were taken.

 
• THEFT: Officers are looking into an SUV break-in in the 300 block of Sixth Street. A 65-year-old woman told police that sometime between 7:50 and 10 p.m. Thursday, someone broke into her 2009 Buick LaCrosse by unknown means. The victim said a Calvin Klein winter coat was taken.
