Woman accused of swearing at police
A Niagara Falls woman was arrested early Thursday and accused of confronting sheriff’s deputies responding to a report of disorderly behavior.
Melissa H. Lamarr, 27, 2251 Independence Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct.
Deputies responded to Green Road about 4:40 a.m. in response to several 911 calls reporting a fight between several highly intoxicated people.
As deputies knocked on the door of one home, Lamarr, who was inside, allegedly gave them “the middle finger,” the report said.
Lamarr, who was reportedly intoxicated, allegedly began shouting at deputies, saying, “Get the (expletive) off the Rez! You have no right to be here!”
She allegedly elbowed deputies and purposely bumped into them, yelling expletives.
Lamarr was arrested and held in lieu of $100 bail. She is due Tuesday in Lewiston Town Court.
