BLOTTER: Police reports published Feb. 17

Niagara Falls

• BURGLARY: Police are investigating a reported burglary which occurred between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Friday at a residence in the 5600 block of Lindbergh Avenue. The victim, a 33-year-old man, said he noticed the door to his garage kicked open and damage to the frame. Inside, he said, he was missing a tool set and stereo equipment from his work table. He said total losses and damages was estimated at $1,200. Officers at the scene report finding footprints in the snow. Another resident of the home told police she’d had ongoing disagreements with people living across the street and believed they could be responsible.

 
• THEFT: Police are investigating a reported theft from a group home which happened between noon and 6 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Center Avenue. The victim, a 48-year-old man, told officers someone stole a $400 laptop computer from his room, which he is unable to secure. He said he hasn’t had any problems prior to a specific cohabitant moving in. The person in question was not interviewed, however, according to reports.

 
• ARREST: A Falls man was arrested following several complaints about his behavior at 10:45 p.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Pine Avenue. David Grimaldi, 45, 462 Fourth St., was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly harassed several customers at a nearby convenience store. He was reportedly located at a nearby business and was allegedly highly intoxicated at the time. He was taken into custody without incident, according to police.
