BLOTTER: Police reports published Nov. 2

Niagara Falls

• BURGLARY: A resident on the 2200 block of Welch Avenue told police Wednesday he left his home about 7 p.m. to go to bible study class and when he returned about 10:15 p.m. he found that someone had broken into his home. Two lawn mowers, two rakes, a shovel, a tool box and two pairs of boots were taken and a bottle of Pine Sol was dumped all over the floor of the residence. The estimated loss is $1,000.

• VANDALISM: A Lockport man reported that a youth throwing rocks on Ferry Avenue hit his ’07 Saturn Wednesday night. The rock broke the rear passenger-side window. The man pulled over and the youths ran off. The estimated damage is $300.

• THEFT: A 77th Street resident told police someone entered his Chevy Equinox overnight Tuesday and took two portable DVD players. The truck was parked in the home's driveway and no damage to the vehicle was found. The estimated loss is $100.
