Boy rolls his way into trouble at Rapids
A 14-year-old boy was detained by police early Sunday morning after he was caught on video surveillance smashing a glass door at Rapids Bowling Alley, 9524 Niagara Falls Blvd.
Falls police responded to the vandalism at 1:11 a.m. and were given a security tape that showed a teen throwing a white “ski ball” through the glass entrance to the pro shop. The youth was found still inside the bowling alley and was detained and handcuffed by police.
The boy, who could face charges of criminal mischief, was transported home and turned over to his mother.
Damage to the glass door was listed at $500.
