BLOTTER: Police reports published Dec. 22

Niagara Falls

BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 1500 block of Linwood Avenue. A 64-year-old man told officers he came home at 12:25 p.m. Thursday and found the front door to his home was open. The man said he went into the house and found a man standing in his back hallway. The suspect was holding three of the victim's shotguns and rifles and was attempting to run out the back door. As the suspect ran from the scene, he dropped the guns.

ARREST: A Falls teen was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 7200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard. Anthony Vincent Christ, 19, 844 80th St., Apt. 3, was charged with petit larceny. Christ is accused of taking more than $13 worth of cough syrup.

ARREST: A Falls man was arrested on drunken driving charges after a traffic stop in the 6300 block of Stephenson Avenue at 2 a.m. Friday. Derek J. Wilson, 36, 1846 Willow Ave., was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and failure to signal turn.

Pendleton

PETIT LARCENY: A Mapleton Road man reported $636 was charged to his credit card. The victim contacted by UPS asking him what apartment number he resided at so they could deliver a package to him.The man said he did not reside on Lincoln Place as was indicated by the package and he had not ordered anything from Best Buy. His First Niagara Mastercard was used to make an unauthorized purchase. A second package that had been addressed to Louisville, Ky.
