Niagara Gazette — Niagara Falls native James Starks may have sustained a season-ending knee injury on Sunday, according to an ESPNMilwaukee.com report.

Starks, who missed the Green Bay Packers' first eight games with a turf toe injury, had his best game of the season in the win over the Vikings, rushing 15 times for 66 yards and a touchdown.

An anonymous source told the website that Starks' injury was "not an ACL" and would not require surgery but was serious enough that the University at Buffalo's all-time leading rusher will likely be placed on season-ending injured reserve.
