MEN'S BASKETBALL: UB beats Towson on OT

“The second half we started finding our rhythm,” coach Reggie Witherspoon said. “By the end of the game we really ran our offense pretty well. We got a little jittery and a little submissive when we had the lead. But for the most part, we ran our offense well through the end of the game.”

The Bulls (2-1) shot 60 percent from the field after halftime. They opened the second half on an 11-0 run, to turn a 35-29 halftime deficit into a three-point lead. They built the lead to as much as 56-47 before the Tigers hit three straight 3-pointers to tie.
