Success on the ice has translated to success in fan balloting for the Buffalo Sabres, who have four guys in the top-five vote getters for the NHL All-Star game, according to NHL.com.
Ryan Miller is the leading Sabres candidate with more than 123,000 votes, trailing only Pittsburgh goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, who has more than 138,000.
Brian Campbell, whose extra minutes have earned him high praise from the team’s coaching staff, ranks third among defensemen with more than 118,000 votes.
Daniel Briere (110,000 votes) is the highest-ranking Sabre forward, while Maxim Afinogenov ranks fifth with nearly 106,000 votes.
