Mike Curatolo netted three goals to lead the Lewiston-Porter boys soccer team to a 4-1 win over Hamburg at the annual ECIC/NFL Challenge at Sweet Home High School on Saturday afternoon.
Mike Grannis scored the other goal with Curatolo picking up the assist. Patrick Polley, Zach Rougeux and Grannis added an assist apiece, while Eric Tower and David Khatib also played well for the Lancers (2-0 overall).
Ben Lange scored for the Bulldogs (0-2).
St. Joe’s 5, Albany-CBA 0
German exchange-student Luke Overthun had a hat trick to help the Marauders to a win over the host team at the annual Albany-Christian Brothers Academy Tournament. Mike Swagler and Eric Giszler also scored, while Jim Maiarana and Nate Bell shared the shutout for Joe’s (1-0 overall).
Springville 2, Roy-Hart 1
The Rams fell in the championship game of the Eden Tournament despite a goal from Brent Russell. Mike Slattery picked up the assist, while Shawn Slattery made three key saves on breakaway opportunities in net for Roy-Hart (1-1 overall). No information was available for the Griffins (2-0).

- Brandon Comerford made 14 saves in net, but Lew-Port lost to Hamburg 1-0 in the ECIC/NFL Challenge.
